Dry skin (face and body)
The most common cause is, of course, dryness. Your skin's barrier function is weakened and has become hypersensitive.
After a bath or shower, or after washing your face, your skin might feel tight, rough, stiff, peel, or become flaky.
This is a state where the weakened barrier function causes your skin to react even to slight stimuli.
<What are the causes?>
Healthy skin maintains its balance with a hydrolipidic film composed of sebum and moisture.
This film acts as a barrier, protecting your skin from external aggressors.
If the healthy balance of moisture and oil is disrupted, the skin, which was normally protected, loses its balance and its function deteriorates,
leading to various problems.
<External and Internal Care>
It is very important to moisturize your skin externally with oils and creams. Wash your face without rubbing, and gently press it with your hands to warm it. Especially for the delicate eye area, apply gently.
Once your skin is prepared, let's moisturize it from the inside (by providing hydration).
Are you getting enough sleep? Are you drinking enough water?
These are really basic things, but we tend to keep working, thinking "I'm fine" or "I'm busy with work."
It seems that those who work hard are not used to taking time off.
Skin problems are a sign from your body.
Only you can give your body rest.
It's about taking care of yourself for all your hard work, dedicating time to yourself, eating nutritious meals, and having time to relax.
This is very important.
We, the staff at Dababu, also learned to "take time to relax" from our Moroccan friends.
Moroccan people value time with family very much. Even when busy, they spend time relaxing with family and friends, or take a nap during the day because it's hot (Moroccan homes are designed so that guests can lie down and relax).
Or they go home for lunch, or work after it gets cooler; they are very free.
They naturally know how to use their time.
It may not be easy in Japan, but even just trying to secure some time for yourself can make a difference every day.

Resting your body and healing skin problems is ideal.
At the end of the year, I felt that it would be a good goal to tell myself, who has worked hard, "Next year, I'm going to take even better care of myself!"
This year was a year of many encounters with customers, and of being supported by many shops, salons, and people.
I am truly grateful.
In 2020, we will continue to deliver products that are safe to use, that are truly organic, and that can be of help to someone, somewhere. We plan to release new products in the new year.
Everyone, please have a happy New Year.
