—Argan Oil Production Method—
dabab ARGAN OIL Production Method

The argan tree is native to southern Morocco. Standing about 7 meters tall, it thrives in the parched earth. It firmly roots itself in the ground, retaining plenty of moisture, and yields highly nutritious fruit.

Argan Fruit
The trees bear fruit every two years. We wait for the ripe fruit to fall naturally before harvesting it. It is a common sight in southern Morocco to see many goats climbing the trees and eating the fruit. Argan fruit is a valuable resource for both goats and the Berber people.

From Harvest to Sun-Drying
Argan fruit is said to be three times harder than walnuts. The harvested fruit is thoroughly sun-dried in preparation for the next stage of processing.

Extracting and Inspecting the Kernels
We crack open the shells and extract the seeds from inside.
The kernels inside the seeds are then removed, and shells and impurities are carefully and repeatedly removed by hand.
